The NSF approved hinge allows the lid to swing open at a point just behind the center. Small tabs on the inside rim of the lid snap into place in the slots on our plastic fountain jars. The best feature is: this lid is clear, so that the operator can easily see the contents of each jar in a lineup. Also, a glance is sufficient to check product levels.
